History
Our United Way was established in January of 1990 as an employee giving program by employees of Pfizer. The founding members very quickly realized the impact of United Way would be much broader if opened up to the entire Beaverhead County Community so it soon became a county-wide program.
We strive to be a model of for all local non-profits and work hard to make sure every donor and every recipient of our funds have the utmost confidence in our process. Please free to contact us if you have any comments about our organization or any of programs.
United Way Worldwide, UWBC's parent organization, uses its global reach and local presence to build stronger, more resilient and more equitable communities where everyone can thrive. We work to improve the health, education, and economic mobility of every person in every community we serve. To learn more visit, UnitedWay.org
